EDUCATION FREEDOM TAX CREDIT • LAUNCHING JANUARY 1, 2027
Students Reaching Their Potential - You Make It Possible
Beginning January 1, 2027, redirect up to $1,700 or $3,400 if married filing jointly of your federal tax liability to scholarships for K-12 students - dollar for dollar, at no cost to you.
What Is the Education Freedom Tax Credit?
The Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC) program allows individuals to redirect a portion of their federal tax liability to fund scholarships for K-12 students. Rather than sending that money to the federal government, you direct it to our approved scholarship organization — and receive a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit in return.
The Granite State Freedom Foundation has partnered with ACE Scholarships, an approved Scholarship Granting Organization under the EFTC program. Your contribution funds scholarships that empower families to choose the school that best fits their child's needs.
Taxpayers may claim an annual credit of up to $1,700 for qualifying contributions, or up to $3,400 for married couples filing jointly, making this one of the most powerful charitable giving opportunities available to federal taxpayers.
